Security Engineer at Amazon · AI safety & security

Making AI safe enough to help heal minds.

I believe AI, built safely, can compress decades of progress in neuroscience, mental health and human well-being into years. My part is the “built safely”: finding how AI systems break, and making them trustworthy enough to deserve that future.

01 — The vision

Decades of progress, in years.

Some of the hardest things people live with start in the brain: depression, anxiety, addiction, neurological disease. Progress has been slow because the brain is so hard to study. Capable AI could change the pace of that research, but only if we can trust it.

With AI, built safely
years

Neuroscience

AI that helps researchers understand how the brain works, faster than any lab could alone.

Mental health

Better understanding, and better care, for conditions that quietly shape millions of lives.

Human well-being

Tools that leave people healthier, more capable and more in control of their own lives.

Safety is the precondition

None of this happens if AI can be hijacked, jailbroken or misused. That is the problem I work on every day.

02 — AI safety & security work

Finding where AI breaks, before it matters.

Independent research on how LLMs and AI agents fail, and tools that make it safer to build with them.

03 — Experience

Breaking and defending systems since 2020.
